Vapor control membrane

CLIMA 18

The vapor control membrane Eurovent® CLIMA 18 is characterized by an elevated level of the Sd coefficient. It is two-layered, consisting of a layer of polypropylene nonwoven and a special functional film. The functional film allows controlled migration of small amounts of water vapor from the building interior towards the attic, and vice versa if needed, giving it the properties of so-called active vapor barrier. The membrane can be customized with two self-adhesive tapes - SYSTEM SK2.

Advantages:

  • Sd value ≥ 18 m
  • Prevents water vapor condensation
  • Tear-resistant
  • Available in SYSTEM SK2
Technical data Usage

CLIMA 18

The vapor barrier membrane Eurovent® CLIMA 18 is used as a vapor barrier layer protecting the attic and wall from excess moisture from inside the room to the thermal insulation. Its active properties effectively prevent the "plastic bag" effect, eliminating the risk of mold and mildew formation. Eurovent® CLIMA 18 is recommended in both residential and industrial construction, finding application in various construction technologies, such as prefabricated, modular, CLT, frame, and traditional construction. During the installation of the vapor barrier membrane Eurovent® CLIMA 18, it is recommended to use Eurovent® UNISAN and Eurovent® DUO adhesive tapes for bonding subsequent laps of the membrane, as well as Eurovent® UNO tape for sealing joints with structural elements.
