Vapor control membrane
Reinforced vapor control membrane Eurovent® CLIMA X20 features an increased Sd value and extreme durability in its class, thanks to the applied reinforcement. It consists of a layer of polypropylene nonwoven, a special functional film, and a reinforcing PE mesh. The functional film allows controlled migration of small amounts of water vapor from the building interior towards the attic, and vice versa if needed, giving it the properties of so-called active vapor barrier. The membrane can be customized with two self-adhesive tapes - SYSTEM SK2.

The vapor barrier membrane Eurovent® CLIMA X20 is used as a vapor barrier layer protecting the attic and wall from excess moisture from inside the room to the thermal insulation. Its active properties effectively prevent the "plastic bag" effect, eliminating the risk of mold and mildew formation. Eurovent® CLIMA X20 is recommended in both residential and industrial construction, used in various construction technologies such as prefabricated, modular, frame, and traditional construction. It's worth noting that it is also ideal for CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber) technology-based constructions, as well as in Passive House construction. Thanks to its mechanical properties, the vapor barrier membrane Eurovent® CLIMA X20 works perfectly with blown-in insulation materials, such as cellulose. During installation, it is recommended to use Eurovent® UNISAN and Eurovent® DUO adhesive tapes for bonding subsequent laps, as well as Eurovent® UNO tape for sealing joints with structural elements.
