The adhesion technology is less popular in the construction branch, however indispensable as far as the production of different chemical composition and different qualities products is concerned. HOTMELT is about joining laminate layers with hot melted adhesive, that is evenly put on particular layers and then pressed by laminating shafts. The technology is most often used in the production of four-layers roof membranes, where the joined polypropylene nonwovens, functional film and polyethylene reinforcing mesh provide the membrane with durability.
